The store will continue accepting orders, but there will be no order fulfillment from 1/12-1/18 while I pack up shop and move everything down to Tucson for the world's largest annual mineral show. After I set up shop at Mineral City (Building E, Room 10), I will start fulfilling accumulated and new orders throughout the show but it will be slow since I am a one-man show. Please expect fulfillment delays on online orders of 2-10+ days throughout January and February.
The Stone Throne booth at Mineral City should be open by 1/21, a week before the show officially begins on 1/27, and will be open daily along with hundreds of other dealers at Mineral City until 2/11. (not to mention thousands of other dealers all over Tucson). As always, I will also be making custom stands on-site in Tucson both before and during the show. If interested, please contact me ASAP as space is extremely limited. Do note that while in Tucson, all bases are charged at double the normal rates. If you do not need the bases to be completed in Tucson, you can make a normal rate appointment for some time after the show. Even if you don't need your specimens mounted during Tucson, please note my to-do list for afterwards has already started and will only get longer as the show goes on, so please reach out soon to reserve a place in line. You are welcome to drop off your specimens safely with me there, or ship them prior to your appointment instead.
Again, online orders are still welcome, but please expect delays of 2-10+ days before your order ships. If you have an urgent need, please contact me before placing your order and I will help if I can.
I will do my best to return messages and answer calls during this time, but things are crazy in Tucson so please be patient (and persistent, if you don't hear back from me)
